Originally the Broadwell Community Group was setup in March 2020 to support freinds and neighbours during lockdown. There was a dedicated phone line, and email address and the volunteers were managed via a WhatsApp group.

Once Covid lockdowns finished the WhatsApp group was opened up to the whole village as a community resource for friends and neighbours to use. There is an acceptable use policy that people have to agree to before they can join the group, this helps to stop people posting inappropriate content.
